12 years. I first picked up a camera when I was 14! I was entered into a state wide Utah competition and won 3rd place against 30+ year Olds! I was so intimidated but now looking back I am so so proud of little me who braved through that! I think it gave me the confidence to officially start professionally 4 years ago.
I have worked diligently on creating a work flow that provides my clients with their images in an efficient manner. I deliver no later than 3 weeks from your wedding date, and no later than 2 weeks for portraits or sessions. Sooner than that however, I send sneak peeks when I have a handful of beautiful imagery to cover most our time together.
Ok this one is SO important to me. For weddings I deliver a minimum of 1500 (typically almost always more) and sessions a minimum of 300. I give you everything you could want, and retrain my quality of service high. I know that even the slightest move in posture can make you love it so I give you as many options to choose from as possible. These are your memories and I don’t take this lightly. I truly care that my experience with you is one you will remember fondly.
I have my travel rates build into my packages for ease for the different time zones in the states as well as out of country. Let me know where you are located so I can provide you with your specific price guide!
Ok real talk, I know how uncomfortable a camera can make you feel. I get the same way! Yep, me too. But here’s the reason you hire a professional… We know what we are doing. Trust me. I’ll give you moving poses like hold hands and lightly jog in that direction before your spin and kiss, then pick your s/o up and give them little butterfly kisses. Or take in this moment to simply enjoy the scenery around us, or even doing something like skateboarding or eating pizza. I work with you to ensure that whatever we are doing it’s something you will actually enjoy so that we get those beautiful candid moments. Kind of like me on a mini first date with you, something you’d want to actually do! Trust me I got you.
I believe we are all so beautiful as is, however I know that sometimes you get that pesky pimple or bruise before your shoot and those things I will edit out for you. Please keep in mind however that photoshopping is very time consuming and I do my best to shoot well, and remove anything outstanding, but I appreciate mindfulness about this when requesting any small changes.
I never want my couples to feel uncomfortable! If we are going to be miserable and stressed during the shoot, I’m happy to reschedule. However, I do encourage embracing what nature gives us as sometimes wind and a little rain can be so dreamy! I’m up for an adventure and always happy to provide an umbrella or sit in the car and wait out anything little.
I use a professional print service called Pic time. I deliver all your high-resolution images through them. It is so easy to create albums, cards, images to frame right inside your gallery. By far they are the best print quality I’ve seen. Yes, this option is pricier than Costco- or Wal greens but that is for good reason. I HIGHLY recommend Pic time over any do it yourself print shop.
